Kate has been a hairstylist for over 15 years honing her craft. She began her career in Short Hills, NJ at Subway Salon, one of the top salons in the country. During her time there, she trained extensively in bridal hair, the perfect blow out, and dry cutting. Soon it was time for Kate to catapult her career to Manhattan where she styled hair on Madison Avenue in New York City. It was there she had the chance to expand her career into working with well known celebrities, work on set for magazines , participate in Fashion Week for designers such as Alice & Olivia and educate other stylists for many of your favorite hair care brands. You can find Kate on tv, backstage or photo shoots for the Tresemme hair team creating avant garde looks for hair of all textures. Kate has also worked in product development to launch new products across the country on behalf of haircare brands such as Oribe, R+Co, Evo, Balmain and Dyson. Kate’s favorite project was training the hair team to launch the Dyson Airwrap where she traveled the country making the launch an overnight success. Kate has been a part of the hair teams for Say Yes To The Dress America, and Project Runway Season 19. This year she is excited to be returning for a full season of Project Runway joining the All Stars Season. She enjoys doing wedding and party hair as much as she enjoys specializing in cutting and corrective cutting on new clients. Kate is best known for her dry cutting skills which allows for a wider customization within your haircut. Kate’s clients enjoy her upbeat personality that she brings to the salon and on location. Kate is known for her calmness and also her accuracy in high pressure situations on set or on a bride’s wedding day that puts all her clients at ease and makes her in high demand. “Crunch time is my favorite time.
